What’s New for 2027

Every 2027 unit rolling off the line shares a few things in common: better tank monitoring, USB-C in place of USB-A, and a more capable options sheet across the board. Past that, each series got its own set of updates: some are running changes, some are bigger shifts in how the power system is built and sold. If you’re considering the Imperial Outdoors 2027 models, here’s what’s actually different, series by series.

Xplore Series: X-195 & X-145

The biggest change on Xplore is the chassis and power system. Cruisemaster’s BCS replaces the previous leveling setup, and the entire power stack moves to Victron.

Standard for 2027

• Cruisemaster BCS (Body Control System): one-button auto ride height and auto-leveling at camp, run from a new digital display or the Cruisemaster app, with an updated/improved air compressor. Note: this handles ride height and leveling, not ABS or auto-inflate.
• Full Victron power system, replacing GoPower components: Victron GX Touch Display, Cerbo GX, 30A MPPT solar controller, Smart Shunt, and MultiPlus inverter/charger, all on one network.
• Mopeka tank level monitoring: reads out on the Victron GX Touch Display in 1% increments, with app monitoring on top. A magnetic LP tank level sensor is available as an add-on.
• USB-C outlets, replacing USB-A throughout.
• New multi-function kitchen sink: X-195 only; the X-145 sink is unchanged.
• Thicker dinette cushion for a noticeably firmer, more comfortable seat.
• Updated bedding: softer fabric, new color combination.

• Power case-style awning
• Rear-view (back-up) camera
• 50A DC/DC charger (Victron)
• Rear storage box side molle panels, now a standalone line-item option rather than included with the storage box.

Sport Series: S-195 & S-145

Sport’s headline change: battery and solar move from standard equipment to a staged option, so you’re only carrying the capacity you’ll actually use. Everything else on the power side gets a real upgrade.

• Battery and solar are now staged options, not standard equipment; see sizing below.
• Mopeka tank level monitoring: reads out on a dedicated Mopeka digital gauge, plus app monitoring. A magnetic LP tank level sensor is available as an add-on.
• USB-C outlets, replacing USB-A throughout.
• Thicker dinette cushion for better comfort.
• Updated bedding: softer fabric.
• New GoPower AIC series inverter/charger: all components talk over CAN-bus to a new, improved digital display.

• Stage 1 Solar: 240W
• Stage 2 Solar: 740W
• Stage 1 Battery: GoPower 300Ah smart lithium
• Stage 2 Battery: adds a second GoPower 300Ah for 600Ah total lithium
• Powered tongue jack

• 50A DC/DC charger (Victron)

Outback Series: OB-120

OB-120 picks up the same tank monitoring and USB-C updates as the rest of the lineup, plus a few changes built around everyday use at camp.

Standard for 2027

• Integrated pull-down shade on side entry doors.
• Mopeka tank level monitoring: reads out on the Victron GX Touch Display in 1% increments, with app monitoring. A magnetic LP tank level sensor is available as an add-on.
• USB-C outlets, replacing USB-A throughout.
• 12V aux outlet in the front cabinet: enough to run a small fan or similar accessory.
• Amber exterior porch lighting.

New & Updated Options

• Stage 1 Battery: 162Ah Expion GC2
• Stage 2 Battery: adds a second 162Ah Expion GC2
