Product Description
OUTBACK OB120 The Imperial Outdoors Outback OB120 is the most compact and versatile trailer in the Imperial Outdoors lineup — a purpose-built, go-anywhere adventure basecamp designed for the adventurer who refuses to let trailer size determine where they can go. With a dry weight of 2,543 lbs and a GVWR of 4,200 lbs, the OB120 is engineered to pair with a wide range of vehicles — Jeeps, mid-size trucks, and capable SUVs — making it the most accessible Imperial Outdoors trailer to own and tow without any vehicle upgrades.
Don't let the compact footprint fool you. The OB120 is built on a rugged powder-coated steel chassis with Cruisemaster CRS coil spring independent suspension, electric drum brakes, 32" all-terrain tires, and 16.5 inches of ground clearance to the skid plate. A DO35 articulating hitch allows the trailer to swivel, pivot, and rotate independently from the tow vehicle for a more stable and controlled towing experience on rough backcountry terrain. Its low center of gravity and compact dimensions let it thread tight trails and navigate technical terrain that would stop a full-size trailer cold.
Four-season performance is standard. Nearly 3 inches of composite insulation, thermally broken windows, and heated water tanks keep the OB120 functional in extreme temperatures, with the cabin and systems engineered to perform down to -40°F. This cold-weather capability is no accident — it's the direct result of Imperial Outdoors' roots in building ice fishing structures designed to survive Wisconsin winters, applied to the most compact trailer in the lineup.
Off-grid capability is available and fully customizable. With available rooftop solar, a 324Ah lithium battery system, and a 12V rooftop air conditioner, the OB120 can be configured for true long-term energy independence. Heated water tanks keep the system functional in freezing temperatures, and the modular power system allows owners to start simple and upgrade as their adventure ambitions grow.
Where the OB120 truly shines is in its outdoor living design. A slide-out outdoor kitchen with a 75L fridge/freezer turns any campsite into a fully functional basecamp, while the thoughtfully designed compact interior maximizes every inch of available space for sleeping and storage. An available 360° awning expands the living space dramatically and provides shade and shelter in any conditions. The OB120 isn't just a trailer — it's a platform for adventure, built to be configured, customized, and taken anywhere your rig can go.
